One of the 3d Total exercises dealt with robotic concepts. I really love the 3d Total lesson books. The teachers encourage the student to come up with their own variants within the exercise. Here was my two variants...

Sketch Exercises 01
A month or so ago, I purchased a number of books and ebooks to help me gain a firmer grasp on various conceptual design subjects. Some books will train me further on design, and others will help me advance my abilities in digital art, specifically in the scifi and fantasy genres.
This assignment was the study of various creature eyes and combinations of eye and nose, based on elements found in nature.
