I love thinking about and creating creatures and characters. On my characters, I use Poser 6 to establish the "blocking in" of the characters, then embellish them in Photoshop CS2 using digital painting techniques. On my creatures, I usually start off with a rough pencil sketch, scan it into CS2, then paint away on it until OCD subsides...

3D Modeling - CGSphere Submission

"The Time Machine"

CGSphere.com has an activity whre the 3d artists are presented with a project file comprised of a simple sphere, and a "cyc" background. Users are allowed to create anything they wish from the sphere, but are not allowed to change the size or position of any element in the original scene file. This was my submission, a construct of the time machiine in the 2000 remake of "The Time Machine". Everything seen was created/adapted from the simple sphere, with the only exception being the main character Alexander Hartdegen, played by Actor Guy Peirce, and was one of the "Poser 6 Bussinessmen" adapted to fit the period and look of the actor.
